This last dry spell was long...even by Deepwell's standards. However, the spark is starting to flicker again and the Deepwell boys are FINALLY blowing the dust off their instruments. It was terrific to hang out and hear all our good buddies from The Country Gentlemen, The Rusty Bridgers Band, The Rocky Creek Band, and The Lee Jessup Band. In Sept. Deepwell will return to Waycross, Georgia for the third year in a row to play at the 13th annual Gram Parsons Guitar Pull and Music Festival.  Deepwell will perform at 5pm on Sat. Sept 18 at 5:30 we'll be joined onstage by the fantastic Marlin Brackett as we support him during his set. PLUS We will also play again at 8pm as Ian Dunlops(Parsons former bandmate and co-founder of The International Submarine band) backing band  Parsons and Dunlop 1967    DISCLAIMER: The four guys that make up this band from rural Georgia have played together for so long, that they are as close as brothers. The result, however, is that they get along like brothers. Day to day moodiness and silly bickering can and has produced premature endings to more than one performance. However, when the planets line up and everything is going right, Deepwell is as unstoppable a runaway train. Stay Tuned!  |
